windows 7,virtual box 4.3.6, ubuntu12.04 for kvm

Post by Guu »

Hello,
I'm trying to configure kvm , current setting is virtualbox 4.3.6 on Windows 7, ubuntu 12.04 in virtualbox,64bits. VT is enabled from BIOS.But when I tried to configure kvm, it said your cpu doesn't support kvm extensions, kvm acceleration can NOT be used. I'm new to this, so are these settings(windows 7,virtual box 4.3.6, ubuntu12.04) feasible for kvm configuration, or is this too much?

Your help much appreciated.
Thank you.

You cannot run a virtualization environment inside a virtualized guest.
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
