Mouse Without Borders from Windows Garage fails after installing VirtualBox. Not a complete fail, some communication between machines exists, but it is messed up.

Any workaround?

I assume it's implemented as a service attached to various host NICs. I would suggest making sure it isn't attached to the VBox host only adapter, as it's going to have difficulty using that. Basically, when no VM is running it stands no chance of making a connection, and when a VM is running it's assumptions will be wrong (like displays not overlapping).
