I try to bring HDP 2.0 vm using Virtual Box 4.3.6.

It says "critical error has occured while running virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped".

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

That is a rather critical error to which only the developers can answer. There were several of them fixed with 4.3.6 but I guess not all of them. See the bugtracker and open a new ticket or add your logs to a similar ticket with your case.

The recent bugs fixed had to do with AMD CPUs. If it's an Intel CPU (like here) then it's a different issue.

One thing I do notice:
VBox.log wrote: 00:00:01.317333 Host RAM: 2558MB total, 1155MB available
...
00:00:01.574350 RamSize <integer> = 0x000000004f300000 (1 328 545 792, 1 267 MB)
...
00:00:01.575783 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000003600000 (56 623 104, 54 MB)
The host doesn't have enough RAM to run this VM.
