Host crashes on Guest boot

Tried with v4.3.4 and v2.x.
VB installs cleanly, but when I boot the guest, no OS installed yet, the host crashes.
I've looked at the minidump files and the only common theme across multiple crashes is ntockrnl.exe. There are other drivers present, but never in the same combination. Usually 2-4 drivers total in the crash stack.
Host is running an E5200 with WIN7 on a 125GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD. There is also a 1.5TB RAID 5 made up of 4 HHD.
I've tried storing the virtual HDs on both the C, os, and D, raid, drives.
I've run VB on this workstation in the past, but that may have been when it was running XP.
Things to look for or at?
