Can't network DController and Workstation

Post by H. Aleman »

Hi Everyone:

I'm trying to setup a test network using one domain controller and one workstation. I've tried all network configurations such as
--Internal network and allow all
--Host Only Adapter and allow all
--bridge adapter and allow all

and though the server can ping the workstation and the workstation can ping the server, I can't join the workstation to the network. It simply does not fin it.

My host workstation is a windows 7 64-bit and my test devices are Windows 2012 64-bit and windows 7 64-bit.

Any suggestion, help or idea would be appreciated.

Regards,

Using the internal adapters will allow the two guests to talk to each other. If they can ping each other than you have the network setup. Other than that it becomes a configuration issue, IP address, DNS, properly configured DC, Etc.. and that is outside the scope of this forum. You need to check a Windows networking forum for answers to those questions.
