I am going to be installing Virtual Box on a Windows 7 Professional x64 Host Machine, What I want to know is if I can then install a Virtual machine of Windows 7 Professional x64 as well essentially having the host system as Windows and the Virtual Box machine Windows as well. Here is my reasoning for this. I build video tutorials and I am building a tutorial for the Windows 7 Installation, as we all know I can not run Screen Capture software on a machine that does not yet have an operating system on it, so what I was thinking is Running the Capture software on the host machine and Capture the install as it is being done on the Virtual Box VM. Here are my system specs

Asus P9X79 Mother Board
Intel 3930k 3.8 Processor
64 Gb System Memory
nVidia Fermi 680 Graphics adapter
Built on audio
Built on USB 3.0
Dual Ethernet ports
BluRay DVD writer
LSI Host Drive controller SAS
300GB Seagate 15,000 RPM SAS System Drive
3 TB Storage Drive with 2+ TB Free this is where I will install the Virtual Box to Unless I need to use the C:\ Drive if so there is still 200+ GB free space on that drive for the Virtual Image.
This is just going to be just a one shot deal, I am going to make the video and then be done with it. But you never know I am a Mac user as well and just may mess around with some Unix stuff as well just depends.

So with that said if anyone could share any knowledge with me if what I am trying to do is possible or not

There's no technical obstacle, but there may be activation issues.

There is no reason why you should not be able to install the same guest VM as your host OS. I have a barrage of VMs, including all the potential (Mac) guests that my Mac 10.6.8 host could run (including a twin 10.6.8 guest). Your systems specs are adequate enough to hold several Win7 guests (at least). To top it off, VBox 4.3.x offers video capture, so you can start your guest with video recording at the same time .

You were too quick for me. Since Win7 offers a "healthy" amount of time before it "freaks out", making Webdevii's tutorial videos should be no issue at all...

Yes, if the Win7 VMs are not kept around then activation will be no problem, unless that was to be included in the tutorial...

My tutorial videos were perfect, They went smooth as silk came out clean and clear and not to mention I learned alot about using virtual machines, I love them.
