I'm going to translate that as: "after I cloned my Linux VM, grub could not find the boot disk!".

The cause is that you have GRUB configured to identify the disk by its UUID, and all UUIDs change during cloning. Identify disks by the device name instead, e.g. sda or hd0 etc (I'm not a grub expert).
