Headless Guest Audio Plays on Host

VirtualBox: 4.3.4
Host: Windows 8.0 Enterprise 64-bit
Guest: Windows 7 SP1 32-bit

Running the guest headless works fine except that audio is played on both the host and the remote desktop client.
How can it be configured for host not to play the guest audio but still play the guest audio on the remote desktop client?

Set the Audio driver as "Null"

Had thought about trying that earlier but was thinking it would shunt all audio so didn't bother.
