Brand-new VB user with Win7 VM needs help

I installed a Windows 7 (64-bit) VM on my 2007 Mac which has an optical drive.

I'd like to move it from that Mac to my 2013 Mac (both are running 4.3.4). I also want to increase the RAM available to the VM after I move it. (I'm also not sure if I have Guest Additions installed or not.)

Since I am brand new to VirtualBox I need some help to do this correctly. Can someone point me or walk me through how to do those things properly and without risking an activation flag issue?

Typically your folder that contains the VM should be under <YourHomeDirectory>/Virtual Machines/<Windows 7> (?). Copy the folder to your new machine, and then double-click the .vbox file. That will register/add the VM to your new computer. As far as the memory goes, feel free to change at will (don't go crazy on it). If the GuestAdditions are installed, typically you would see the VBox icon in the tray. If not, or unsure, install them again.

Awesome. Also, I figured out that I didn't have the additions (I had mounted the disc but not installed it). Thanks so much!
