This is VirtualBox 4.3.4-91027
The last VB that ran on my computer, a fully updated Windows 7 Pro 64 bit box, was VirtualBox 4.2.16r86992.

I'll have to uninstall VB 4.3.4-91027.

I've tried uninstalling the prior VB completely.
I've tried running the VB install as administrator & uninstalling the prior VB and deleting all prior directories before doing an installation.
During the install, I get an error about renaming the network interface as that name already exists. There is no sufficiency of information about WHAT name. "Cannot rename this connection. A connection with the name you specified already exists. Specify a different name."
I tried deleting all VB network interface instances and rerunning the VB install.
I still get the same set of issues.
I cannot run any VirtualBox past 4.2.18-88780.

In the registry, I have entries under SUN-VBOXNETFLTMP that I cannot update the permissions to. Only the SYSTEM can change anything here. I am unable to effect any change on these registry keys atm.

I have been battling this one since this version too. It also occurred earlier in the update series, but often fixed itself in the next release. Tried deleting the .VirtualBox folder which only caused grief by needing me to reset up the virtual machine from scratch. Sigh.

my OS winndows 7 sp 1 32 bit

anyone have solution?
