4.3.4: Nat Network start/stop versus enable/disable?

Post by spamrefuse »

I find this quite confusing.
What is the difference between start/stop the Nat Network and enable/disable it?

The manual does not explain.
Removing a Nat Network often gives error messages:
VBoxManage: error: Code NS_ERROR_INVALID_ARG (0x80070057) - Invalid argument value (extended info not available)
VBoxManage: error: Context: "RemoveNATNetwork(net)" at line 442 of file VBoxManageNATNetwork.cpp
VBoxManage: error: Failed to remove nat network
This is with both CLI and GUI.

It might help if you explain what it is you are trying to do and give explicit information. Like the exact command you are trying, and if the guest is still running and using the service.
