Bad guest addition .iso after 4.3.4 upgrade

I upgraded my Virtualbox to 4.3.4 (Win 7 x64 Host) When I tried to install/upgrade the new guest additions I got an error on every VM stating that the disc was either not formatted or corrupted.

My workaraound was to download the guest additions 4.3.4 iso file seperately and burn to a CD. the iso was quite difficult for me to find by the way
I was able to install the new guest additions this way fine, but I have 3 other machines running Virtualbox 4.2??.

Do you think this was just a fluke problem? I think I'll hold off on the other upgrades for now untill I test this one more thoroughly.

A precise error message would have been useful, and/or a screenshot.

Nobody else has reported a corrupted ISO embedded in the official release.

Also, after downloading the ISO again, why burn it to physical CD? ISOs can be mounted directly in the VM.

It looks as though it was a one-instance error, The guest additions I downloaded seperately work fine mounted from iso or from CD. The original iso that was present in the 4.3.4 install did not work, there were no errors during the 4.3.4 upgrade process, The symptom was different depending on what OS I was in. Windows 7 Guest just said "Please Insert A Disc into Drive D:" anthough the guest additions iso was mounted there, XP Pro gave an error "Disk is not formatted - Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows."
I couldn't mount it from Linux, that's when I gave up on that iso and removed it.

I have upgraded another system to 4.3.4 and recieved no errors, guest additions work fine as supplied.

I burned it to CD to test a few things, the image itself of course, and the ability of VBox to grab the hardware, although I could have done it any CD, I see no reason make to my reasoning for burning it to CD an issue.
