I am running VirtualBox Version 4.3.4 r91027 on mac 10.8.4. I have installed OEL 6.4 and installed the guest additions as well. The problem I am having is that I cannot get the linux guest to go full screen. I have attached a screenshot of what happens as it appears to only be able to achieve a certain resolution. I have also tried editing the "XORG.CONF" file, but any time I edit that the OS will will not reboot properly. Another thing I noticed is that the XORG.CONF does not seem to be populated correctly. I tried running some commands to populate it programmatically, but that causes the OS to crash on startup as well.
*EDIT* Attached the VM log file. Also the OEL is 64 bit. The host Mac has 8gb of memory and the VM has 4.
