Guest crashes Ubuntu 13.10 3d video enabled.

I'm running on a Windows 7 (x64) host, with VirtualBox 4.3. After creating an Ubuntu 13.10x64 guest, enabling vboxvideo and 3d acceleration, the guest crashes when launching Unity. I'm getting a VirtualBox error message:

Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager has stopped working.

I can boot fine (though at a slow crawl) with 3D Video Acceleration disabled.

I've spent two days trying other things described on this and the Ubuntu forums with no luck. Can someone please help?

Thanks!

Need to see a guests log file ( as an attachment ) of a session with 3D enabled and a crash.
