re newest update

Just installed the newest Vbox update and I am having significant issues (host is W7 and guest is XP Pro Sp3)

The first boot of the Guest was great .. it was faster than the previous version.

However since then, there are significant issues.

Issues ..

- when transferring from Host to Guest, there is now many times that the Guest screen is a white screen and it takes 15 -30 seconds for the screen to populate the XP desktop screen

- VB has crashed when running an Alpha 5 and then starting up Microsoft Office 2010. .. this was repeated 4 times .. but now seems to be okay????

- the pop up menu at the bottom of the screen now fully hides the various tabs in the task bar and will not allow you to touch any of the hidden tabs until the pop up goes away. The problem is when you go to access the tab, the popup gets reactivated .. and you have a continuous cycle ..

- some programs (and it is inconsistent) will produce a blank white screen and you cannot even access the bottom pop up menu to get you to the host ... the only solution I have found is using the ctrl-tab function to highlight the other running apps.

if this continues, I want to go back to the previous version ..

If I uninstall this version and reinstall the previous version, will there be any other serious issues that I may have to deal with ...

"newest update" means nothing really. Give actual version numbers, and a VM log showing the problem session.

I want to go back to a previous version .. as I have not locked up Outlook, scrabbled Excel spreadsheets and a lost Word documents .. and have two other pieces of software lock on the Guest side . ...

This is not a stable version.
