Problems with 64bit guests - Windows 7 64Bit host

Hi,

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 7 64bit Pro.

I have enabled visualization in the BIOS and run the MS Visualization check tool to make sure things are OK.

When I try and install openSUSE 13.1 or Linux Mint 64 Bit editions I get a message (with openSUSE) to say I am not using a 64bit machine.

I have checked the manual and enabled 'I/O APIC' as suggested.

I'm using VirtualBox 4.3.4

Could anybody help? Please let me know if you need anymore information.

Thanks in advance

You need to select the 64 bit receipt in the settings not just the version name which is 32-bit

Example:
Debian = 32-bit
Debian_64 = 64-bit.
