Hi,

I am trying to update my version of Virtualbox. It is running on Win 7 and VMs are suddenly starting to crash with fatal errors.
I am trying to update by going to Help>Check for updates but I keep getting error:connection refused

Any ideas? Thanks

I would say: download the installer from here and install it from fresh (uninstall the old software first). No, you will not lose your VMs.
