I'VE MADE 3 VIRTUAL MACHINE GUEST STARTING BY 3 REAL PC FUNCTIONING WITH XP PRO 32 BIT.
I CREATE THE VHD DISK WITH THE MICROSOFT'S TOOL DISK2VHD .
NOW I NEED TO USE IT ON THE NEWER PC WITH 7 32 OR 64 BIT..
THE FIRST MACHINE WORK PERFECTLY.
THE OTHER TWO RESET CONTINUOUSLY WITH A BLUE SCREEN AND THE ERROR IS STOP C000021A , IF I USE THE IDE CONTROLLER EMULATION.
IF I USE THE SATA EMULATION , THE ERROR BECOME STOP 0X00000007
I SEE THIS ERROR ONLY IF I TRY TO START WITH THE RESET DISABLED.
I TRY ALL THE SETINGS ABOUT THE PROCESSOR AND THE CONTROLLER BUT I'VE FOUND ANY SOLUTION...

These are common and well-know issues for physical to virtual migration and have been discussed many (many) times - a lot of info can be found on Google for the error numbers.
You can also find documentation on P2V on this forum, and on Google. Please use the search function first.
