I have VirtualBox 4.3 on my MacBook Pro (Core Duo 2006) - OSX 10.6.8.

I'm trying to create an Elementary OS (http://elementaryos.org/), but in trying to install the OS I get a message saying that 'pae' is not present on the CPU.

1) Can I install this OS on my system?

2) If so where/how do I get 'pae' on my system

You need to enable PAE/NX in the guest settings -> System -> Processor.
