Hi,
I've had shared folder access problems with a kubuntu (I don't know the version but it's lesser or equal to 13.04) and making my user account part of the vboxsf group resolved it.
Now I've installed the 13.10 version and I can't read from my shared folder. I've checked the automount box in VB configuration, I've made the user a member of the vboxsf group and even th su can go to the good folder but the 'ls' command won't answer anything, the cursor is blinking and the terminal is not responding.
Any idea?

Re: Yet another shared folder problem
Did you also update the guest additions?
I would also do a reboot of the guest after you are sure the additions are updated and the fact that you have updated permissions.

Re: Yet another shared folder problem
I've updated VB, the ExtensionPack and the GuestAdditions, everything is OK. I should have made that before annoying everyone. Thank you.
