Network Adapter on rel. 4.2.18 using Bridge

I have been using Virtual Box running Window 7 on a MAC host. I recently updated to release 4.2.18 I then started having some problems with my Network Adapter. In earlier releases I had been using a "Bridge Adapter". In other posts and documentation I see that NAT is suggested for use in release 4.2.18. I can get the NAT adapter working however I am using an application in Windows that needs to communicated to my iPhone over my wireless network. If I under stand correctly the NAT adapter behaves as a router and thus there is an internal network different than my wireless network. That prevents my iPhone from seeing the Windows Application via IP address.

I read that Bridge Adapters now only work with WiFi not cable connections so I have tried to make that change. However I am still having problems getting the Bridge network working. In fact if I configure for bridge before I start the virtual machine I always get an error when I try to start the VM. Here is a paste of the error Virtual Box gives me.

===========
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Window 7 in 2013.

Failed to open/create the internal network 'HostInterfaceNetworking-en1' (VERR_SUPDRV_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND).

Failed to attach the network LUN (VERR_SUPDRV_COMPONENT_NOT_FOUND).

Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole {db7ab4ca-2a3f-4183-9243-c1208da92392}
=============

I don't really understand what this means. I tried to search the forums on some of the content of the error, but could not find anything that seems to match what I am doing.

Is there some way to get my application linked to my iPhone via and IP address either with a NAT or Bridge adapter?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
