Please forgive me if this was already discussed, I'm a noob at all of this so if you could point me in the right direction then I'd appreciate it.

Trying to install Windows 7 using VirtualBox and can't get it to format my partitioned drive. Keep getting error code 0x80070057. Funny thing is I tried partitioning different drive sizes using Boot Camp Assistant, but no matter if I've allocated 40gb or 50gb VirtualBox still says my partition is 46.6gb. Please help, I've tried this with 2 different versions of Windows and get the same result.

Try at Microsoft's site? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2476568
Also, since you are new to this, do not try to work with your BootCamp assistant. VirtualBox keeps its own virtual machines separated from your OS. All your VirtualMachine is contained within a file. There are more advanced topics covered in the manual.
