Problems with VBoxManage (4.3.2) on 64-bit Windows 7 Host

VirtualBox 4.3.2 running on a Windows 7 (64 bit SP1) Host PC

Problem with trying to execute the following from the command line

VBoxManage.exe clonehd file1.vdi file2.vdi --format VDI --variant Fixed
or
VBoxManage.exe createhd test1.vdi --size 1024 --format VDI --variant Fixed


Pop-up box

VBoxManage.exe has stopped working

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem
-> Check online for a solution and close the program
-> Close the program

There was not any information added to the log files.

Could someone else running VB 4.3.2 on 64-bit Windows 7 try to reproduce the problem?

I did not try any other VBoxManage commands as I moved to 4.2.18.

It would be useful if someone else could try to repeat the problem in case it represents a real bug. I have searched the forums but could not find anything similar to this problem. The problem does not happen on 4.2.18 (or any earlier version going back to 3.0.x).

The Windows system is up to date on all security updates (SP1).

I have an almost identical problem on a Windows 2008 R2 x64 host which is basically the same as Windows 7 x64. Upgraded VBox to version 4.3.2 yesterday. After the upgrade I get the popup box with message "Oracle VM VirtualBox Box Manager has stopped working" for one of my
virtual machines. This VM runs Opensuse 12.3 and always fail with this message when trying to start Firefox within it. The full error description is:

Never had any problem before upgrading to 4.3.2
