So it first it said each time i tried to run it to put a disc in my Disc Drive. Then when I Try to run an installer for it, it says "The folder path 'Virtual box' contains an invalid character." Then when go to click on repair in control panel this pops up "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" And it is wanting a file called "Virtaulbox-4.2.18-r88780-MultiArch_amd64.msi" is there a way i could fix this by maybe getting that msi file?

I am running windows 8.1

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the md5sum to verify that the VirtualBox file is not corrupt?

Which directory should i check?
Edit: Never mind what I said, I fixed it by downloading it again and putting it on my sd card and running the installation from the sd card to extract to my computers desktop. Only if they made a zipped version of it, I would have not gone through this tedious process, But I am happy nonetheless.

You want to check the md5sum of the install ISO
then go to the download page and see what it was supposed to be.

You can even download it again because I am fairly sure it is corrupt.

Not really. The install works just fine if the file is not corrupt. That is why you got the message about the msi file and why I said to check the md5sum.

As for the teaser, no I have not tried to decipher it. I have a lot more going on that needs attention.

Seriously it is a major distraction and simply screams look at me, look at me aren't I something?

You can close it yourself. Just add [solved] to the subject line.

Edit: this was from your original post
