VirtualBox install broke Microsoft RDP
Before I installed VirtualBox, Windows's RDP server worked as expected. After installing VirtualBox, Windows's RDP server no longer answers. No virtual machines were created, and VirtualBox hadn't even been started up yet, but the install screwed up RDP to the host system. I have since changed the port that Windows's RDP server listens to (33890 now) and verified that it works locally. I have verified that the firewall allows 3389 and 33890 through (at least, according to the firewall management software), but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I don't want anything to do with the VRDP stuff - I will never use it. But I *do* want to be able to RDP into the host machine since it's sitting in a server room on the other side of the building from my desk. What did just installing VirtualBox (and not even using it yet) do to my network setup, and how can I fix it? If I can't fix it, then please tell me so I can uninstall VirtualBox and try something else.
Re: VirtualBox install broke Microsoft RDP
Host: Windows 7 64-bit
I created a new virtual machine in VirtualBox 4.3.2. When trying insatalr Radmin 3.5 server machine crashes and reboots continuously.
I tried to install other versions of Radmin but caused the same error.

VB does install a filter driver for the network as well as its own virtual adapter for a host-only network. I've had network issues after an install if I didn't reboot after a VB install. Can you reboot the machine and test out RDP?
