I am using Windows 8.1 64 bit right now. But the following problem is occurring in Win 7 and win 8 64bit os too.

Problem:-

Internet is working just fine. all websites are opening, downloading at full speed. but after few hours, sometimes 5 hours or sometimes 7 hours...
suddenly, I cant open any website. when I am writing web address in firefox or IE or chrome, its not opening. then I keep clicking on GO repeatedly and then site gets opened. But most sites are not opening normal. Pictures of sites are missing.

While I am pinging sites through dos, ping seems working fine. Downloading file is working fine too. But sites are not opening. Only after Refreshing the page 100 times, sites are opening but not properly.

But........then I restart my computer, and after restart, everything starts working fine. I reinstalled Win 8, 7, 8.1 but problem is there.

Now, when I uninstall Vbox while having this problem, internet starts working normal again. But as soon as I install vbox and running programs inside vbox, problem is happening again.

I tried vbox latest version as well as old versions. I tried Vmware too. but while using vmware, no such problem is happening. But I want to use Vbox bc its better than vmware...

Can anyone give me any solution please? (tested with antivirus and no antivirus is installed os, problem is not causing due to antivirus !!)

(Inside vbox internet is working fine)

If you don't use the Host-Only network mode, try removing the Host-Only interface that is created by default on your system with a standard install.
Windows sometimes gets it wrong and send data to the wrong interface.

you mean this one? If I remove this one, can I still use internet inside vbox?

I removed this one ... net is working fine inside vbox. I will let u know if this problem is happening again after that thank u

2 days everything was ok but looks like the problem has returned. same thing. after few hours, internet problem in host machine. this time what I did is... when such internet problem is happening...I opened Vbox network settings, then removed the Tik from the box besides "Cable Connected".

When I do that, internet again starts working fine. After I again Tik from the box besides "Cable Connected". Everything looks fine then. but again after few hours same thing.

I am running Proxycap inside vbox.

Please... help...

Is your host configured with proxies or things like that? What is the purpose of the VM?

I have installed proxycap v5,26 (proxy tunneling software) to use proxy for the applications installed inside vbox. I am using windows xp Sp3 inside vbox.

Host is not configured with proxy or anything like that. In host, I am using direct net. No proxy or any other software.I removed vmware too.

Then please attach the VM log as zip like described here, and also attach the guest settings.

Did not find anything relevant, no. The issue seems to come from some network settings on your host.

Could you run the following at these times and attach as zip the output :
- Before starting the VM
- After starting the VM, while it's in use, but before the network issue
- During the network issue
