I've been a heavy user since v2.2, and use VMs to do a wide range activities, such as:
* use various VMs for my software development and testing activities to keep things separate and nice and secure.
* check out and explore a wide range of operating systems - new and old.
* run a wide variety of software and games in their own sandboxes.
* provide separate VMs to friends and family if they need a computer when they come and visit, so that they can do whatever they want in their own virtual machine, without me having to worry about them messing up my environments or risking my host machine installations.
I could not live without VirtualBox (or similar software) now.
On an average day, I'm working on my computer for at least 12-14 hours, and I'm running various VM's for most of this time.Anyway, just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone involved with VirtualBox. Your efforts are very much appreciated.
