the "check for updates" option does not work for me: it gives me an error which says "ssl authentication failed". had this before with version 4.3.
4.2.18 worked without problem.
any idea what's the problem here?

Which version do you have currently installed when you test the update function, VBox 4.3.2 or VBox 4.3.0?

1. use the Uninstall tool
2. Open SysPrefs Security & Privacy General tab, select Anywhere
3. Install V4.3.2

After successful installl. you should reset Anywhere

That's not correct. The picture you showed are only warnings. We are working on getting signatures for the kernel extensions but this will take more time. The installation succeeds even if the warnings are shown and VBox should run without any issue on Mavericks.

PAE detection seems to be broken. I'm using a Fedora 19 x86_64 host with Virtualbox-4.3.2. If I install 32-bit Fedora 19 in the guest, it should (and did, in the past) install the PAE kernel, but it now installs the non-PAE kernel. The same problem existed with 4.3 (I noticed it just before getting the 4.3.2 update, so didn't have time to report). An install using the same host and a KVM guest installs the PAE kernel. I'm guessing the problem was introduced with 4.3, otherwise I'd probably have noticed earlier.

Edit: For comparison, here is the output of "cat /proc/cpuinfo", on the host (which supports PAE, being 64-bit) and on the 32-bit vbox 4.3.2 guest (which should be supporting PAE, but doesn't). A lot of other flags are also missing.

Er. Am I missing something here? The manual doesn't mention anything about GUI support for webcam passthrough, nor can I see anything in GUI itself that indicates this. (4.3.2.r90405)

I don't see anything that indicates a "webcam passthrough". Host: OSX 10.6.8, Guest: Any

If VBox actually sees your Webcam it should show in the devices menu under Webcams. I just tested this with Linux host and it works as advertised. Maybe it has to do with the host.

Yes it does indeed! I checked again (installed VB in a Win-VM) and it's a Windows/Linux feature . Any thoughts on when we might see it on the Mac side? (not looking for a binding ETA, just for a version number, or if it is even planned).
