Wondering if anyone can tell me how to remove a Dropbox directory (or any unwanted directory) that I recently installed on my VB. Is it possible to delete a directory at all?

The fact that you are using a virtual machine does not make any difference to the way the OS works. Delete a folder just as you would on a physical machine.

What command do I use. rm doesn't seem to work.

What OS are you running on the host machine? This forum is called VirtualBox on Windows hosts, so I presumed you were running Windows.

Use rm -r to delete directories and their contents.
