how to enable copy/paste

I've installed VB on WinXP, and find that I cannot copy/paste from one to the other. Can anyone explain how to enable this feature. Is there nay manual that explains these simple things?

You can copy/paste text (and images on Windows hosts), provided you install the GAs in the guest. You can't copy files. Set up a shared folder if you want to do the latter.
