Error installing *buntu 13.04/13.10

Post by Blaine1666 »

I tried to install Ubuntu 13.04 and 13.10 in a virtual box image but It's not possible because the desktop doesn't start.
I tried the "Install Ubuntu" option but with same results.

Int the Xorg.log file appears this error message:
Failed to load module "vboxvideo" (module doesn't exist, 0)

I creted the image with this configuration:

video memory : 128MB (Maximun possible)
3D Enabled.

Ram Memory: 1024MB
PAE/PEX

I tried a lot of different configurations (more RAM, less video memory) and Ubuntu Gnome edition but with same results.

I tried others distros (Lubuntu, Debian, openSuse etc..) and works fine. Ubuntu 12.04 works too.

How can I solve the problem and install new versions of ubuntu?
