VBoxheadless high CPU Usage, Cannot reconnect via RDP

I'm using VBoxHeadless to run a Windows 7 64-bit guest running on a Windows 8.1 64-bit host. I just upgraded to VirtualBox 4.3. The guest starts up and runs normally, and I can connect through RDP. If I disconnect the RDP session, the CPU usage immediately climbs to 99% and I lose the ability to reconnect to the guest via RDP (it just stalls out at the "Configuring remote session" progress bar). The guest isn't frozen, and can be shut down using the Machine>Close>Send ACPI Shutdown signal to the guest via the VirtualBox Manager.
I didn't see this behavior with 4.2.18 after Windows 8.1 upgrade, but I haven't yet tried downgrading to see if that makes a difference.

By RDP, do you mean the VRDE of Virtualbox, or the native RDP of the Windows guest?

The guest is running vboxheadless (launched by holding shift and clicking on the VM in the VirtualBox UI), so vrde is running. I'm not using the guest's remote desktop connection. I'm using the Windows 8.1 RDP client to connect to the guest on the host's IP address and port.
By the way, uninstalling VBox 4.3 and reinstalling 4.2.18 solved the problem. I haven't had time to try reinstalling 4.3.

Probably related to
bug #12353

Not sure this is related to the bug to be honest, the OP doesn't tell if the CPU usage is in the guest or the host, but we can assume it is in the host.
Your ticket reffers to a process in the guest, and is already a known issue.
