Debian 7 Install Freezes on VB 4.3

Hi!

Tried to install Debian 7 64bit from... the official with VB4.3-89960. Downloaded all 3 DVDs + the update one.

When starting the VM, I see the installation options screen, and I am able to navigate through the menu. However, when I click on any option that is supposed to begin the installation, it freezes, after briefly showing activity on the virtual CD. I am still able to power off the machine in the regular fashion.

This is a fresh install of VirtualBox. I also tried the netinst image with exactly the same result. I reinstalled VirtualBox, and recreated the VM with most options default (except RAM: 1024 and HDD: 20Gb).

Any ideas please? Really need to get this working!

Went into the "Help" section, then pressed [ENTER] to continue booting. Got message like "This kernel requires an x86-64 CPU, but only detected an i686 CPU. Unable to boot – please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU". Googled as to why and how to fix. Turns out, Intel Virtualization Technology had to be enabled in BIOS in order to run 64bit guest OS.

Thanks and sorry for the fuss. Now, at least there's a post on the subject =)
