Virtual Box 4.3 fails to load the VM

Post by Spyrus »

I am attaching the png and log as it is instructed by Oracle Virtual Box itself.
The VM has been upgraded many times in the past.

Looking at some results at old topics, seems like this guru meditation is related to not having Virtualization enabled.
And indeed, it is not enabled for yours.

Can you make sure VT-x/AMD-V is enabled in your BIOS, not used by anything on your host, and that the VM config includes it?

I enabled the VT-X at VM settings (and not in BIOS) and it works. That is though a bug since later releases did not have that requirement

4.3 has got a massive change in the way it handles Virtualization, and is more strict on certain things, like explicitely enabling it sometimes.
