CompareExchange128 Error on Windows 8.1 update

Currently running VirtualBox 4.3 with 4.3 extension pack installed on iMac (2.5GHz Core i5). Can't upgrade from Windows 8 to 8.1 as being told "You can’t install Windows 8.1 Preview because your processor doesn’t support CompareExchange128″ Any ideas?

Switch your VM OS type to Windows 8.1 first

Haha! I use FreeBSD and it also works with windows 10
