Windows 8.1 upgrade missing in store on Windows 8 host

Hello,
I am attempting to upgrade Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. The installer is perpetually missing in the Windows Store. I held out for the Windows Store upgrade as RTM doesn't support keeping applications and the time to reinstall all applications would be prohibitive. I am running VirtualBox 4.3.0 on Mountain Lion.
Any suggestions?

I suggest that you contact Microsoft about any problems you have with their software or websites.

Thank you, however I solved my problem myself. I had downloaded a RTM ISO and used http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... t-key-only to install using the provided key.
Now that I have Windows 8.1 installed, do I need to contact Microsoft to figure out why the screenmode in the host is limited to 1024x768?

Never mind. I got help from a friendly soul on IRC.
One needs to install the guest additions, reboot, wait a while (not sure why it's not immediately available..) and select View -> enable Auto resize.

Oh, and for anyone following: you need to enable an instruction set to install Windows 8.1 in a VM, this has instructions for PC - adapt to suit: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=56196

The latter fix would only be necessary when upgrading from an earlier version of Windows. If installing Win 8.1 from scratch then use the Win 8.1 template, that way all VM recipe settings will suit the selected OS.
