VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter

VirtualBox installiert ja den VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter. Wenn dieser Adapter (mit Standardeinstellungen der Installation) in Systemsteuerung\Netzwerk und Internet\Netzwerkverbindungen aktiviert ist, hat PowerDVD 12 Probleme an Media-Renderer (z.B. auf Android Tablet oder Loewe SoundVision) Musiktitel zu streamen, denn es funktioniert dann nicht und ich erhalte unsinnige Fehlermeldungen entweder vom Gerät oder von PowerDVD. Wenn ich den VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter deaktiviere, gibt es keine Probleme bei der "Wiedergabe auf...." mit Power DVD. Windows Media Player ist dies allerdings egal, "Wiedergabe auf Media-Renderer" mit WMPDMC (Windows Media Player Digital Media Control) funktioniert sowohl bei aktiviertem als auch bei deaktivieretem VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter.

Hat jemand eine Ahnung warum?

VirtualBox installs the VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter. If this adapter (with default settings from installation) is activated in system control\network and internet\network connections on Windows 7, PowerDVD 12 has problems to stream music to a media renderer (i.e. on an Android device or my Loewe SoundVision Twonky media renderer) and I got absurd error messages either from the device or from PowerDVD. If I deactivate the VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter, there are no problems with "play on ..." with PowerDVD. Windows Media Player with WMPDMC (windows media player digital media control) ignores this all, does not matter if VirtualBox Host-Only Ethernet Adapter is activated or deactivated, and "play on media-renderer" works in both cases.

Does anybody know why this is?

That would be some missconfigured routing, or your application missusing the interfaces. Does it work if you disable than re-enable the host-only interace?
