virtualbox-4.3_4.3.0-89960 error

Hi, I'm new and I sorry for my english because I'm Italian.
Since last day I used virtualbox version 4.2 and all vorked fine.
Now I have disinstalled the old version and I installed the last version of virtualbox but when it starts the system board says:

Try following the instructions on the download page. Namely, adding oracle's repos to your sources list and installing using apt-get. I installed version 4.2 instead 4.3. 4.2 worked - I haven't tried 4.3. Downloading the latestest version 4.3.* installnig using dpkg and running produced an error you described.

I believe I am encountering the same problem as Alberto. I have tried running VirtualBox 4.3.0 on two Linux Mint 13 systems -- one running Cinnamon, and one running Mate. Both have kernel 3.2.0-23-generic. One is 64 bit, the other is 32 bit. Both result in a similar error when attempting to start VirtualBox 4.3.0:

Linux Mint 13 (x32) virtualbox-4.3_4.3.0-89960.

Where is no folder "/home/vbox/" after install...

What to do?
