Hi,
I'm having some trouble with a multi-monitor setup.
I have increased the number of monitors from 1 to 2 (settings / display /monitor count).
When I boot the VM up only one virtual window is launched (it has ":1" at the end in the titlebar). Where is the second one?
The guest OS is also recognizing 2 monitors (2 monitors are listed in the resolution section).
PS: I don't know if it matters but I've already installed guest editions on the guest OS.

Did you configure the guest to actually use the two displays? This is not automatic.

I've updated the virtual box settings to show 2 monitors & the guest OS is also showing 2 screens under resolution setup.
I just don't have 2 virtual monitors.

Re: Multi-Monitor setup -- only 1 virtual window showing
Exactly what is the host and guest?
Re: Multi-Monitor setup -- only 1 virtual window showing
Window764bit host, Window764bit guest.
I'm assuming I should be getting 2 virtual box windows when I startup the VM right? The problem is 1 only get the standard 1.
The guest is actually detecting the number of displays I've set up in the virtualbox settings... I just don't get the second Virualbox window.

Re: Multi-Monitor setup -- only 1 virtual window showing
And you've checked that the two windows aren't on top of one another? Also check for scrollbars on the host, i.e. check that one window hasn't been moved offscreen or shrunk to minimal size.
Re: Multi-Monitor setup -- only 1 virtual window showing
I'm using windows 7 and it groups tabs together, there are only 2 tabs The Oracle VM Virtualbox Manager & the actual VM. So no it's not hidden :/
