Maybe its best to go back to previous version 4.2.8. If yes HOW

Or you could fix the reported problem: if your VM is configured to use it then make sure VT-x/AMD-v is enabled in your host BIOS, and no other software is using it. A 32bit XP guest doesn't normally need VT-x, unless you configure it to use multiple CPUs.

I am not tech savvy enough to follow or understand your instructions. I have been using Virtual box for years running WinXP on a win 7 64 bit platform. I upgraded like I do when new versions are available and I got into this problem. What do I need to do in more simple terms if you please

I need that VM log file before we go any further. The VBox.log file can be found in the Logs subfolder of the VM folder. Zip it up and attach it here.
