DHCP Offer without MAC broadcast but explicit MAC address
Re: DHCP Offer without MAC broadcast but explicit MAC addres
It think it has nothing to do with WLAN or LAN. It has to do with how the destination MAC address of the DHCP offer from the router looks like, either a broadcast MAC or the MAC of the host, which I think Virtual Box could translate to the MAC of the guest.

WLAN is a point to point connection and many combination of routers, WLAN card and WLAN driver cannot handle more than one MAC address for a "single" connection.

I think the answer of Franck on the BugTracker, being part of the Virtualbox team, is clear : it is accepted, but will not be worked on for now.
