Hello guys,
I allocated 1GB of memory to virtualbox and 20GB of hdd space BUT i unistalled it (erased the VM folder as well, but the ram memory is still not available on my mac and the 20GB hdd space as well. Any solution for this please?

The host OS doesn't allocate RAM to applications that aren't running, and VirtualBox is nothing special in this regard. Check again.
Likewise with data files, they take up disk space until they are deleted - really deleted (not in the garbage can). Uninstalling an app doesn't delete data files. The Mac also has a backup tool that might create copies of files - you need to hunt those down and delete them too. But these are generic OS X management issues, not really anything much to do with VirtualBox itself.
