After I install Ubuntu 13.04 as a guest OS I can only get a max of 1024x768 it shows as Laptop display. The graphics are showing as VESA:Oracle VM VirtualBox VBE Adapter, once I install the Guest add-ons using Virutal Box not the repo's and reboot I have a blank desktop no system bar or unity side bar. If I CTL+ALT+T I get a terminal but there isn't a menu bar.
I am running Host Windows 8 64-bit Guest Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit
Host i7 2nd gen 8-Gigs RAM
Guest 2 Gigs RAM

Ok guess 4 install is the magic number works this time??? The only thing different I did was not to do update && upgrade before installing the Guest Additions? Maybe there was a busted video driver?
