WinXP guest fail (Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908)

Post by MacPlain »

Dear all,
I just had this experience when i try to power on my WinXP VM on MAC OS. Its said that my MAC was not successfully loaded the kernel (Make sure the kernel module has been loaded successfully.).
My question is, can i still access the virtual machine data in that vm? For the information, i've just repair my mac and change the logic board from my MAC, could it be the cause for all the trouble?

Thanks,

MacPlain

I suggest you do a Google for previous occurrences of that error message, since ISTR there have been several very long discussions about it before.
