On Windows 7 Pro SP1
I've the same problem with v4.2.18 and v4.3.2
But not with v4.1.28
Will I never be able to update Virtual Box higher ?

My solution was to run VirtualBox in compatibility mode for Windows Vista SP2, and with administrator privileges. This allowed it to run.

Got the same error here.

Only worked in compatibility mode running as Vista SP2.

From my point of view, I seem to have a solution to the problem. I've run the installation with "administrator permissions", and in "compatibility mode for Vista SP2". Then I run the program, itself with these same Compatibility options. This has appeared to work for me on my Windows 7 32bit machine!!!
