I have a PC that is not connected to a network, on this system I am running a virtualbox VM. I have a shared folder on the host PC, I am unable to connect to it at all from the virtualbox VM.
The host machine has a 'VirtualBox Host-Only Network Adapter' and the VM has a NAT adapter
Host
IP : 192.168.0.100
Subnet : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : Blank
Preferred DNS Server : Blank
Alternate DNS Server : Blank
VM
IP : 192.168.0.99
Subnet : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway : Blank
Preferred DNS Server : Blank
Alternate DNS Server : Blank
What should I out for the gateway and DNS for both?

Re: Virtualbox networking problems
The guest would also need to be using the host-only adapter for proper communications. The host machine has a 'VirtualBox Host-Only Network Adapter' and the VM has a NAT adapter
