Hi have spent several hours reading the posts about "VT-x is not available. (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX)." I have made changes in the BIOS and done everthing I could think of and could find. I hope someone here can give me an idea what I am missing.

If you are certain that hardware virtualization is enabled in the BIOS then you need to see what might be using it that is preventing VirtualBox from seeing it.
Common items are XP mode or Hyper-V.
