Communication host machine <-> Virtual

Hello,

I started in virtualization and needs experimentation, I need to implement a Dos 7.01.
I chose VirtualBox and I evolve under Win XP Pro.
To make it short, I developed an application in TP7. I would like to compress the execution time by splitting the workload across multiple virtual machines.

My current concern is to establish communication between the host and guests via a file-sharing machines. Moreover, it is not necessary that these virtual machines to go on the net.

Would you have a solution to offer?

Thank you for your answers.

I'm not sure what your question is. Yes, it should be possible to create multiple DOS VMs on one host or across multiple hosts. DOS guests are not supported by Guest Additions, but it should still be possible to configure normal network folder sharing.

Thank you for your reply.
This is what I want to do.
In practice, how are we doing?

Are you asking how to do it?

You create a VM, install DOS. You then clone it as many times as required, and copy the clones around as required. Note that your DOS license may or may not allow this.

You can Google for information on setting up a network shared folder using a network of DOS machines - virtual machines don't require anything special except that you would probably need to use bridged mode. If all the VMs are on the same host then "host only" and "internal networking" network modes may also be a possibility.

"If all the virtual machines on the same host then" host only "and network modes" internal networking "may also be a possibility. "

How does one implements this possiblility?

That information is given in the user manual. Look at the "Configuring Virtual Machines" and "Virtual Networking" chapters.
