Pre-built virtual machines for developers

Hello,

How do I a pre-built virtual machine that includes only Linux OS and database ?

I downloaded one of the pre-builts from Oracle and it has too many build-in apps as shown below:

Oracle Linux 5
Oracle Database 11g Release 2 Enterprise Edition
Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database Cache
Oracle XML DB
Oracle SQL Developer
Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler
Oracle Application Express 4.1
Oracle JDeveloper
Video chats with engineers and experts

Just install a bare-bones version of Debian or What ever your favorite flavor or Linux is and then install the database of your choice.
If you select to install in expert mode than you can pick what gets installed.
