I searched but didn't find anything on this :
I don't want to attach my host to the internet; only to a local network (RJ-45). I want to attach my W7-64 guest to the internet (wireless). I want the guest to grab the wireless so the host doesn't know about it. How do I do this ?
My expectation is that I will be able to freeze the state of the VM once I solidify a configuration so both my host and guests are safe.
Any thoughts ?
Network disable host, enable guest

Re: Network disable host, enable guest
You would need a USB wifi adapter. Then you disable the network portion of the guests setting and install the network drivers for the USB wifi adapter in the guest.
Re: Network disable host, enable guest
So does that mean I have to get an external USB wifi adapter, or just use some generic USB wifi adapter driver ?

Re: Network disable host, enable guest
If you want to totally isolate the host and the guest and have Internet in the guest you need an external USB wifi adapter.
